To All:

Jeez, Ojai have been really hot this weekend - about 106. Tonight I drove back from Ventura (at 7pm) which was a nice 72 degrees.

By the time I got to Ojai (30 minute drive inland) the temp was still 100!

I think the extra humidity is what gets me. I spend 2 years in KY while in school and swore I'd never live in that kind of humidity again.

Anyway, what was the high temp in your area over the Labor Day weekend?

- Luke :(

Actually, when it gets over 100, who the heck cares how hot it is??!!! It's just HOT!! lol

Same here, Luke...it hasn't cooled off at night either. Chris and I drove to Laguna Beach on Saturday. The temp in the bug said 109 here in Santa Clarita and progressively went down to about 85 in Laguna. We put the top down and thought maybe we should grab a sweater! lol

When 'FuNsHiNe' can't roll topless you know its HOT!!!
It's been in the triple digits here in SOuthWest Riverside County for a couple weeks now & WHEW!!! I've had enough...thats me flushed from the heat
I love summertime... when I moved here from the beach area many moons ago, I loved the triple digit heat, but back then, not any humidity. I agree with the rest of you, thats what makes it so miserable. Ahhh, well, our weather is definitely changing on us, has been for at least the past couple of years, here's hoping that mother nature & father time will cut us a little slack & give us back our customary Southern California temps of 70-80's coastal & the high 80's-low 100's inland, & keep the 105+ out in the desert where it belongs :-D
Even the beach was hot yesterday...high 80's...my temp gauge said 88*...& the surf was outstanding...high tide made for some awesome waves, but man, it stayed until way into the late afternoon, once again, WHEW!!! but hey, it was definitely cooler than inland...
