Here's a short report from Earl (Cueball) on the Las Vegas VW show from early October 2007: via Luke
So Cal NBC did very well in Las Vegas this year. Isaac and I
were there. We took the majority of prizes at both shows. We even
won Best of Show of the Elite class at the Fremont Street show. That
sure upset a bunch of air-cooled guys - and that made me quite
tickeled.
A Passat that belongs to a VW repair guy had a bar-b-que grill in the front instead of the motor and the butane bottle is in the trunk. He uses it for tail gating at the shows and races and towes it to and from. Very clever and very well done!
