Anyone out there know where it is located on the vehicle??? I used my brothers Vag-Com, he has the connector USB KEY type and we down loaded from Ross-Tech.com the software to my laptop. Ran the test and got fault code: 01738 Crash Sensor for Front Airbag; Drivers side (G238) 004 - No signal/communication - Intermittent.
I cleared the code, now to see how long it takes to come back?????

My airbag light came on around 4,500 miles. The crash sensor is backordered, it's a common problem. I've had the same problem on my other 2 convertibles! I think they said it's in the seat, but I can't be positive. I should be heading back to Barber VW soon to have the new one put in, so I'll ask 'em!
