With the momentum generated over the new VW Up! models and its often-noted comparison to the old and New Beetles models, it is possible we have to consider changes in our club membership in the future.
The New Beetle Club may want to consider allowing the Up! models to become part of our existing club.
How's this for an idea: the So Cal New Beetle Up! club.
We've got a few years to think about this since the Up! will not go into production until 2009 or so. This might be a good way to fire up the club by inviting the yet-to-be manufactured Up! to be a part of our experience right now. We could have "slightly square and round" cruises each time we go out.
