For those of you who did not get the final outcome of the Route 66 charity tour (summer 2007) put together by Earl and his friend Jerry from Ohio, I am pasting the last entry from Earl's blog (see below). Money was contributed by VWoA, Motel 6 as well as many others. This was a fantastic trip of 20 NBs from Chicago to LA as well a a side trip to the VWoA headquarters in Michigan. Earl and I each put over 6K miles on our Beetles during the run.

I am very happy to report that our Tour raised $4064 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This shows, once again the generosity, style and flair of the New Beetle community. Not only for a lot of fun and lasting memories, but for a great cause too. Thanks"
