Well i took my car into the shop monday and i didn't receive any good news. The "tick" i had with the wipers was more than a tick. Apparently the tech took a look and tested every single wire and he has tested everything in his power. So now vw of america has been called and they are sending a specialist to come look at it. This happened with my last beetle and they considered it a lemon. What are the odds of this happening again and to me twice? I'm so disappointed!
Keep positive thouhgts, This may be something easily solved. If they are bringing in the 'big guns' from VWoA you might get a more complete solution.
My bugs both needed some minor attention in their early months of ownership. Even though these are lovable machines, they are still machines.

well she's home and I got her back right before the holidays.
VWoA said that there was too much power being lost while the wipers were running so they had to reconnect some of the electrical to a new source? They said it shouldl become a recall. They've had to fix many for the same/ similar problem. But mine is fixed and ready to drive.

I went to Las Vegas this weekend and took my 'vert had an awesome time. The car did great made great time and kept it under 100mph. Parked it in valet all weekend except our last night out. Cruised it around a little and self parked it while we ate dinner at the MGM on fight night. Came out and someone tried to steal the wheels off my car! What the heck! Get your own! they took all the vw logos off the wheels and all the plastic covers. exposing all the bolts. they stripped a few of the lugnuts but the wheels never came off. drove it home just fine. But do u have any idea where I can get replacement wheel cover caps. the dealer price is $34.00 each plus the plastic caps about a $1. I'm devastated.
I've owned 3 new beetles and every time I take one to vegas something doesn't make it home. Also i have the smallest puncture in the side of one of my seats. Any advice on how to repair?
