Solvang Wheels n' Windmills Car Show

Due to limited space, the Wheels and Windmills Car Show has a registration deadline of August 20, 2007. All registrations must be received in the mail by this date (see link to website for form).
Registration is $30 and the show is all charity. The promotor said last year that if we got 5+ bugs in the show, he would have an award just for beetles. The awards are paid for by local businesses.
This is a nice show with all the cars (vintage and custom - look at the site gallery for a taste of the show cars) lined up in downtown Solvang (traffic was excluded from the affected streets for the duration of the show). This is a nice way to see cars, see Solvang and hang out with Beetle people.
For those who do not want to be in the show, you could drive up later in the morning or early afternoon and hang out with us anyway.

Looks like I may be going back home to Nebraska to see my dad. Haven't seen him since I was in the hospital last year, and I was so drugged up I don't even remember!

I doubt I will go now.
Yes, I still plan on going, but have had little time to prep the bug. School began this week so things have been busy. Last week was filled with meeting and class preparations.
I enjoy viewing the many custom street rods and restored originals in the relaxed (and mostly shady) streets of Solvang.

Last year I met you on the northbound on-ramp of the 101 at the 150. I do not konw where the Von`s is. I know there is an Albertsons across from the Macdonalds one off-ramp north of the 150, the downtown Carpinteria off-ramp. Shall we meet there at 6:30????

I got it. Let's meet along the freeway like last time .... where the Casitas Pass Rd/Hwy 150 meets the 101 freeway. I forgot that detail.
We can meet at McDs if you wish.
Again, what time is good for us to meet in Carp? Does it take you 45 minutes from your place? So would 6:45 work?
