I see this site has already been subjected to X rated spam by a spammer and has objectionable content .........

Yes, I just caught that, and deleted it.
I am not sure how they got on here. Perhaps we will have to set the site up to only allow members to join via admin approval.
I apologize about that spam, and hope you will understand that we are brand new here. There will be some growing pains along the way, but overall this forum should help to bring the club together and help it to grow.

We had to do that to the old list and it was the ONLY way to stop it.

Just a fair warning bizhat.com is blocked by many companies including my own as spam as well and many members may not be able to view or respond from work.

Ah, ok. Well maybe we need to look into other options.
Thanks!

Is it normal for this site to ask for the username and password everytime I want to post. I am having a hard time posting. Maybe if I reply to this thread it would take it. I tried to post on a new a new thread but it keeps requesting a username and password.

Doris,
Try putting a check mark in the "Log me on automatically each visit" box. It sounds like you are timing out between posts and the system is asking you to re-log in. Let us know if that helps you...good luck.

i have used php and have many spam bots able to post to my fourms too I moved to SMF its stronger and much safer and is always up to date. Plus many many other tools and mods for it. Also noticed the ADMIN name is in the members list. Im an IT professional and thats a big NO NO. Either rename it or delete it. Many will try to brute force that account. I always take that one down. Also not to bash but help out the avatar size is set to 6kb which is really small even a simple avatar i was trying to put up wouldnt go at 14kb. Could it be possible to increase that to say 20 kb? or so? Just friendly advise. I didnt see moderators added to all of the categories either. Is this something that will change soon too? I do see some of them have users assigned to them but might be a good idea to assign groups to moderators and add them to all forums that way if one person logs in they can remove explicit media from a topic if its not something they normally moderate. Just a little fyi. have any other questions please feel free to ask. I do websites and hosting as well and have some knowledge on the matter. Love the them and site layout! Keep up the good work. Also, the best way to get people to start coming is to post more content. Doesnt matter where ya got it but put info in there that someone might want to read. Like a timing belt change or headlight adjustment or something as simple as a wiper blade change. All it takes is a few posts to get the people to start asking questions. I wasnt sure who to send this to cuz all i saw was a the ADMIN member and it didnt seem used very often.
Kind Regards.
