June Cruise

I notice that there is NO June cruise or GTG planned.

I will be in or on my way to Pennsylvania during the July cruise so cannot make that.

I was thinking that a GTG or cruise to one of the these three places may be a good June 21 event. I am flying in the Golden West Air Show (http://www.goldenwestflyin.org/performers/RV%20Formation.htm) next weekend and the 21st is the first that I would be able to make something. It looks like I would be doing a lot of the planning on any of the following but would ask for help in finding a place for us to EAT :eatdrink020: at before or after one of the following.

U.S.S. Midway (http://www.midway.org) in San Diego.

The Ronald Reagan Library (http://www.reaganlibrary.com/welcome.asp).

The Griffith Observatory (http://www.griffithobs.org/).

I know nothing about any of the three above places and they are all some place that I would like to go. Anyone else interested with this short of notice.


PS: I have now been driving my New Beetle diesel one year and 17,000 miles and I like it a LOT.

A few of us are planning to drive to St George, Utah and eventually to Moab, Utah during that weekend (leaving the Weds before) as a Roswell alternative run. Anyone is welcome to join if they can get off work for a few days.

Perhaps others that are not going on the multi-day cruise would be interested in a local one day event.

I like your options. Maybe these could be planned during a future month - say Aug or Sept (?).

I'd love to go to the Griffith Observatory sometime. I live up in NorCal, but I would willingly make a trip down to LA just to go there. I love Griffith Park, and I would love to spend a whole day there.

That's a good idea for a cruise. There is more to the park than just the observatory. I'll keep that in mind for a future date OR perhaps, someone who is scheduled for another month this year would like to plan that cruise ....... HINT!!

Since you would need to plan ahead to make the drive down south, we normally have this info on our site a few weeks ahead of time, if not a month.

Occasionally, there is a rescheduling a week or so ahead based on weather conditions ...... or a planner who gets too busy to get all the details planned in time (in my case, gulp!!) :o
