Hi, my name is Shari and I just bought a 2002 New Beetle on July 17. I love it and it's much nicer than my last car, even though it's older! My friends love it too. I had a Beetle as my first car in 1980, and even though it was older than dirt it was a good car. It seems like I've finally come home again with my New Beetle, and I hope I can keep it forever. Does anyone else here live in San Diego?

Yes, there are quite a few New Beetle peeps located in the San Diego/Inland Empire area. Hopefully, you'll be able to meet up with them when you carabug out to one of SoCal's upcoming events.

Shari~ I don't live in San Diego, but I frequent it alot, especially lately since it has been so hot in SouthWest Riverside County where I live, hubby & I head down your way at least once a week to cool off & play along the coast...don't be shy, if ya see us, give us a wave-I promise, I wave back :) At any rate, welcome to the club & hope to see you at the next event...its starting up here in my neck of the world & then headed for the coast via the Ortega Highway...hope ya can make it...in the meantime, keep on carabuggin'.
