Well, we are just a few weeks away and we are making preparations for TOY JAM 7! Last year, some club members were overheard saying how they would love to see us get 100 New Beetles in the parade this year. I would LOVE to have to hire more police officers for that very reason! So I ask all of you to help me recruit people to join us.
Here's how........
If you see any type of promotional Beetle out there in the Southern California area, please jot down their contact information, and pass it on to me. I will contact them and let them know all about our event. If you actually happen to talk to them, please feel free to let them know about the event and give them the website information (www.toyjam.org (http://www.toyjam.org)) so they can see for themselves what a great thing we do for the children.
Also, any friends of club members that own New Beetles are encouraged to attend. The more cars we have in the parade, the more attention we can get for the hospital, and ultimately; the children.
In the next few weeks, we will be updating the ToyJam website, so for now here is the important information:
DATE: Saturday, October 11.
TIME: Meet at 9AM sharp
WHERE: The S.E. corner of the Ralph's Parking lot at Carson St. and Cherry Ave in Long Beach.
