If you are a person who loves his or her New Beetle; you must attend the R2K New Beetle only show in Roswell, NM during June. It is done with an alien theme and is loads of fun. This will be the 10th (and perhaps last) show in Roswell so you don't want to miss it! If you live in the Pacific Northwest and want to caravan down with other Beetles, contact me for details! For more info please click on the link below. See you there!

I still have no firm interest from anyone regarding the PNW caravan. My proposed route is atm: south from Spokane through Boise through Salt Lake City, then cut over into Colorado and from there down to Roswell. Arriving on Thursday. Please let me know if you would like to meet up somewhere along the route. And yes this route is NOT carved in stone! In fact, if nobody joins, I may take a different way altogether!

Thanks.

Here is a tentative route of the PNW Caravan:

Anyone that wants to join can check out the route and let me know if a meeting spot can be arranged.

If nobody joins, I will probably change route and head down thru Montana.

In addition, I am open to route changes to aid others wanting to caravan. Let me know ASAP though so arrangements can be made!!! Thanks.

Well, this year there were only two cars from the PNW!!! Mine and another couple in a Salsa Red convertible from Oregon.
C'mon PNW, lets start saving those shekels for the 2011 R2R!!!

Yes; we voted to continue every other year!

Lets work on getting a real PNW caravan going next time?

OK just for the record, I will not be leading (or on) the PNW caravan! I will be leaving for R2R from Arizona. Long Story but there it is. I was going to try and hook up with the SOCAL caravan but that is not looking good atm. I will probably meet you all in Roswell on Thursday!!! CYA there.

Glenn:

Thanks for the update. I was hoping you would join us for, at least, part of the journey, but I guess we will see you in Roswell Thursday June 9th.

BTW, I made my room reservations today with no problems. I decided to go with the Comfort Inn, just in case I needed to bring the doggies.

For those of you planning on this event, recall that you will need to mention 'New Beetles' to get the $80/night rate. For me, the lady on the phone seemed to know about the special group rate ...... so I had no problem.
