I was sitting out by the pool and thought the chair felt like it was vibrating, but nothing else was shaking. Guess we didn't get much more than that up here in Santa Clarita!

Everything is okay in Torrance, that was quite the shake if I do say so myself

I was at my friend's house, they live in an apartment on the 2nd floor, we shook pretty hard, scared me quite a bit

Epicenter was Inglewood (about 10 miles South of LA and 10 miles North of me)

didn't feel anything down here in Escondido, we're pretty far from everyone else.

as soon as i heard everyone talking about the shake, i looked it up to where it was, hopefully everyone is alright though, never been in an earthquake before, im from SC and hardly any over there.

All is well here. It shook pretty good in Torrance. About 25% of my photos are on the floor. ALL the drawers in my kitchen were part way open. Lots of stuff fell over and off shelves. My favorite wine glass from Wien’s hit the floor and shattered. I stepped on a piece of broken glass in my bare foot but my skin did not get broken so no blood.

I have been in California since 1983. This was the biggest shaking that I have had in that time. I was in Gardena for the Northridge quake and Fullerton for the Whittier quake.

In Ojai I felt no shaking from this one. I just happened have the TV on and walked in from the yard moments afterwards to see the media getting involved. The LA basin has faults all over the place, so this sort of thing is not surprising.

Last week there was a 4.2 four miles from my house on a local fault (and only 4 miles deep - that's shallow for SoCal). This one was very rare in our part of SoCal, but was a pretty good jolt. Hey, maybe this is a trend (?).

For a geosciences guy this stuff is "fun"!

Wow, nothing that bad here in Buena Park. I was upstairs laying on my bed studing and it felt like 3 shakey jolts. Little scary since we've been having a few but nothing broke.
