OK. I just called the Sally Port to ask for clarification! I talked to a manager this time and was told that pets ARE allowed if under 50 lbs. and in a smoking room ONLY (and they have very few of these) PLUS there is a $10.00/night fee for pets.
So basically the pet fee will keep me in Motel 6 or elsewhere. I can buy a nice breakfast for that extra $$$.
Motel 6 is just down the street and is $53.99/night with no pet fee.
Sorry about that but thought this info might be helpful to others.

If, by chance, you are 60 or over Motel 6 offers a senior discount of 10% as well!

I got a room at motel 6 did you tell them u were with the nb r2r group they gave me a rate of 48.99 a day. When I called the other motel last wk they said they had no rooms. I like motel 6 any way can't wait to go.

I didn't know they were even aware of our R2R group :-) I did get the same rate though as it is the senior rate. Thanks for telling me, see you in Roswell!!!
