It's never too early to start planning for our biggest event of the year. As always, there is TONS of info at the ToyJam website (www.toyjam.org) but if you still have any questions or concerns, feel free to e-mail me. Check the ToyJam site often. It will be updated anytime we have new info.
I hope everyone is planing on attending this event.
See you there!

The only question I have is about the toy donations.
Where/how do we get the toys that are being donated? Are they being collected somewhere and then they're distributed amongst our Beetles after we meet up in Long Beach?
Or should we be collecting donations from our offices and schools and bring them to Long Beach with us?
I'm not sure where exactly the toy donations come from.
Thanks!!

Most people try to pick a few things when they see a sale. You can also have a collection box at your office if you like.

I think a collection box at offices and businesses is a good idea.

Will we be carabugging from our areas to Long Beach? I'm in the Burbank/Studio City/North Hollywood area.

Jinger, There are usually a few carabugs set up around SOCAL. I know that a group will be coming down from Santa Clarita area, and one up from the San Diego area. Anyone out there in the Burbank area?
I have a friend who is interested in coming. If she signs up make her feel super special. Because she is, she's the best neighbor anyone can ask for.

Since the main reason for this event is to bring as many toys to the Children as possible...I have decided to open up the event to ALL Beetles, not just "New" Beetles. This would enable us to get lots more toys for the kids, and I think it is the right thing to do. I also think it would be cool to have a parade of new and old Beetles riding around town.
So, if you know of anyone that has a non "New" Beetle, please let them know about our event. I know we have a few club members that own Pre-1998 Beetles as well as New Beetles, and it would be nice to be able to include them in the festivities as well.
Frank,
