When i found my bug on the car lot it had the 6 disc changer in the trunk. Once the car lot got the banks check and i went to pick the car up... no changer in the trunk. But the sales man was nice enough to offer me a used one he had laying around for $250!!!! I said "you mean you have MY changer that i could buy twice for $250!? I don't think so!" I walked. They already had my money and i wanted my bug.
:confused005: I do not have the monsoon or whatever. I have an AM/FM Tape player. With the changer in the trunk. I do NOT have the speakers on the dash only the ones in the door pillars. So yeah i don't think its a monsoon. My deck says nothing about monsoon.
Anyway. If anyone has a factory changer laying around or even a single disc in dash unit laying around please let me know. Using this tape deck adapter thing SUCKS BAD! Thanks!

You mean you still bought it from them? Who was this dealer? Was the CD Changer listed on the sales contract as an accessory?
We need to spread the word to boycott this dealership!

Well trust that i made a big deal about it. While i was on the lot picking my car up a couple was there test driving i yellow bug. (they loaned me this car while waiting on my bug to be clean and ready) I told the people to run while they can, that this guy is running a shady company. They walked. :D
This car lot is now closed. Thank god! It took me two months after they had my money to get my car. Due to a wheel bearing they said they would change. Then they changed the wrong one. TWICE! So after a month i go to pick it up and its still messed up. So then after the 2nd month i go to pick it up and its still messed up. So i took the car to my own guy in Hermosa beach. I brought the dealer the old bearing as proof his people didn't do the work. He wanted me to pay for half of the cost of changing the bearing at my shop. At this point i gave in and paid i couldnt take it anymore. I was making payments and had no car to drive. It was a huge mess. I almost walked away from my bug. I'm glad i didn't.
OH!!!!! And after driving a @&@# 1992 acura vigor for a month as a loaner he gave in and let me drive the "other" beetle. So two months of making car payments on a car i don't have and the guy had the balls to bitch to me about the miles on his cars. I'm SO SO SO SO glad he closed down. This was a lease return lot out of Santa Monica.
