Hey, is anyone planning on going to the Classic in Irvine on June 13? In past years I have taken my 1965 Squareback, but I recall seeing New Beetles there. Does anyone in this club show up for a group presence there? I think I would like going there with my New Beetle for the first time.

I am so disappointed! I was so looking forward to attending The Classic for the first time with my New Beetle. I ended up having to work today. I am an auto detailer and some of my best clients are folks who buy and sell at auction and/or show at various concours or just plain show events. This time of year is busy. One of my regular clients has "Project" cars which sometimes take necessarily large amounts of attention. Sometimes in order for these vehicles to be ready for Monterey, or wherever, we are on a tight timeline. So today I am working instead of enjoying The Classic with all of you! Please post photos of the event. Hope i can make future events this summer and that my car work won't force my to miss the whole summer!
