Not Air-Cooled, But a New Rear Engine VW for the Future?

Check out this source. They maintain that VW is considering a new rear engine model on the lines of the old Beetle. The picture shows it to be Beetle-like, but in a modern configuration. However, the source does not say if it will be called a Beetle.

The llittle thing is kinda cute ..... in bug-like way.
